the other side

Isaiah 27:12-13-the message At that time God will thresh from the River Euphrates, to the brook of Egypt, and you, people of Israel will be selected grain by grain. At that same time a great trumpet will be blown, calling home the exiles from Assyria, welcoming home the refugees from Egypt,to come and worship God on the Holy Mountain, Jerusalem. The last blog was about being together in this race, this climb. This morning, i see another picture thru these words of Isaiah. when all is said and done, we come to the Lord grain by grain- one by one- with no one but ourselves to hold account. I see us,as a group, coming to the top of that Holy Mountain, and suddenly, it is only HIM filling my being with His great light--and all else fades to nothing. there i stand-- or dare i stand--completely bare i stand-- before the KING of Kings the LORD of Lords. and HE sees me, and greater still, since He always sees me, is that i see Him, and all that i am, have been and have done for good and not so good, i also see. will it be, that my mouth will open to give excuse? i think not, as i lay before my precious Savior, the Great Father of all. it's highly unlikely that i will be able to utter a sound. perhaps even thought will evaporate in the midst of HIS Glory. His word says the trumpet is blown to welcome home the refugees. As the Lord wipes away every tear, we come to the Holy Mountain to worship Him. We walk along this path of life. we help one another along the way. but at the top of that mountain, we are selected grain by grain. In Numbers 9, we see the LORD in the cloud. vs 17- whenever the cloud lifted from above the Tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the Israelites encamped. The world is confusing. when i look to my surroundings, even the church, i may wait for the others to move. but if their eyes are on this world, they wont see the movement of the cloud. if my eyes are fixed on them, what will i see? My Salvation is sure for i have given my heart to Jesus. yet, He prunes us, takes us to the threshing floor, and separates the wheat from the chaff. there is reason in this. for only Holiness can be set before HIM. Our holiness doesn't come from ourselves, but from our Lord - our Redeemer. Isaiah 27: 3-5 reminds us that the LORD watches over us, waters us, guards us and calls us to make refuge and peace with Him. It is in Christ we find our hope and the grace to see the movement of His cloud. It is there, we understand that as we worship on this climb, so also, shall we worship on HIS Mountain. really good news! Romans 8:39 ..nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. so after all the threshing, we'll come to the top of His mountain. for that is where He is calling us alone -to worship
